This Church, built in 1963, needed to be modernized to improve building performance and to provide a more comfortable and practical environment for Church activities. The Church will be upgraded with a new energy efficient HVAC system, new double glazed/insulated windows, more efficient lighting, new exterior doors, new ADA accessible restrooms and an improved sound system. Forty-eight new solar panels will be added to the roof to fully provide for the Church’s energy needs. New Energy Star appliance will be incorporated into the new kitchen. The old high maintenance, water-loving landscaping has been replaced with low maintenance, drought tolerant plantings. Interior spaces were reconfigured to better serve the needs of the congregation.
